 Heal the World gives palliative to over 200 people

It was a joy and great excitement last weekend as Heal the World Movement handed palliative package to over two hundred people to cushion the effect of the COVID19 pandemic on people.

This measure according to the President of Heal the World Movement, Dr Tola Olukilede is the organization’s way of putting smile on the faces of people as it is obviously clear, the effect of the pandemic on people’s well-being generally.

Speaking on Saturday at the monthly convened Covenant discovery Conference, Dr. Tola Olukilede who doubles also as the founder of Tola Olukilede Ministries International said;

“We know a lot of people are struggling, we can’t pretend not to know. During the lockdown, after the lockdown and up till now I know how many seed [money] God is using us to sow [give] into the life of people.”

“We know doing this is a channel to our blessing.”

Speaking to Heal the World News Desk after the conference, a beneficiary of the palliative package distributed, Mrs. Blessing Michaels said life for a lot of people in her area has been tough and this has led to the demise of some people, and for a lot of young ladies, pregnancy out of wedlock has been the result.

“In the area I live, life over there has been tough, a lot of women died, marriages got broken and ladies that couldn’t bear the pain of the hardship resolved to prostitution.

Dr. Tola Olukilede also added that this same palliative measure has been given to the Movement members and beneficiaries in the South-south region of Nigeria.

Seconding Dr. Tola, the regional coordinator of Heal the World Movement in the South-south region of the country Apostle Fred Okoro, told Heal the World News Desk;

“It was a joyful atmosphere for a lot of our people while the palliative which consisted of foodstuff was being shared. The people were very happy and excited because they have never received such a stimulus package in a very long time and this came at a very crucial time when the effect of the pandemic was biting hard on people’s well-being”.
